Abstract

ORE MINERALIZATION WITHIN A METASOMATISED MAGMATIC INTRUSION AT KOZIEGŁOWY AREA (UPPER SILESIAN BLOCK, POLAND)Abstract. The main aim of this study is to determine and identify ore minerals observed within the intensely altered silica-rich subvolcanic rocks located near Koziegłowy. The rocks occur in the northeastern part of the Upper Silesian Block, close to the Kraków–Lubliniec Fault Zone. The research work was performed in two main steps including both complete microscopic investigations and detailed electron microprobe chemical analysis.
