GENERATION AND NEUTRALIZATION OF ACID WATERS IN THE NIWKA-MODRZEJÓW COAL MINE (UPPER SILESIA)Abstract. Dissolution of oxidation products of sulphide minerals and their neutralization in the Niwka-Modrzejów Coal Mine were investigated. Both the iron forms and the origin of sulphur in mine water are discussed.
