Abstract

DEWATERING CHARACTERIZATION OF A DEEP CIRCULATION FISSURE WATER RESERVOIR EXEMPLIFIED BY THERMAL WATER DEPOSIT IN LĄDEK SPAAbstract. The paper presents the capability of utilization of the modified Maillet’s formula in describing a model of emptying of a deep circulation groundwater reservoir, exemplified by thermal water deposit in Lądek Spa. As a result of previous researches of the discharge changes, the occurrence of a strong hydraulic connection between these thermal water intakes has been confirmed. Total admissible volume of water extracted from the intakes and potential of the resources of this deposit have also been calculated.
