Abstract

MINERAL AND THERAPEUTIC WATERS OF THE IWONICZ-ZDRÓJ–RUDAWKA RYMANOWSKA ANTICLINEAbstract. The Iwonicz-Zdrój–Rudawka Rymanowska Anticline (fold) is one of the most interesting in terms of hydrogeology tectonic structures within the Silesian unit. Therapeutic waters occurring here have a CO2 content of up to 1102 mg/dm3. Carbon dioxide in smaller quantities is also present in the boreholes. In Iwonicz Zdrój the mineral waters are of type from 0.09% Cl–HCO3–Na, I, Br, HBO2 to 1.94% Cl–HCO3–Na, I containing carbon dioxide, while in Rymanów-Zdrój from 0.17% Cl–HCO3–Na to 0.83% carbonated water Cl–HCO3–Na, I.
