Abstract

VARIABILITY OF HYDROGEOCHEMICAL CONDITIONS IN AERATION ZONE ON THE DUMP OF SULFIDE ORES MINE IN MIEDZIANKA (WESTERN SUDETES)Abstrakt. Groundwater from aeration zone on dump of Schwarz Adler mine in Miedzianka has a very strong variation of chemical composition and physical and chemical characteristics. Their chemistry is far from typical waters of saturation zone. Different sets of mineral phases were identified during the fields sessions on the examined dump. These observations indicate variability of hydrogeochemical conditions and processes. The results of investigations are confirmed by geochemical modeling using the PHREEQC code.
