Abstract

HYDROGEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SPRINGS IN THE P£AWNA RIVER CATCHMENT (KŁODZKO LAND)Abstract. The paper presents hydrogeological characteristics of springs in the Pławna river catchment against the geological background and geomorphology, based on hydrogeological mapping, periodical spring observations and physicochemical analysis of spring water. Spring density index is equal to 1.33. Total spring discharge comes up to 0.69 l/s.km2. On the basis of springs discharge regression analysis, regression coefficients (0.010–0.028) and capacity potentials of examined aquifers (2,420–10,120 m3) were estimated.
