Abstract

APPLICATION OF NUMERICAL MODEL OF GROUNDWATER FLOW IN DESIGNING THE DRAINAGE WELLS BARRIER IN THE VICINITY OF THE INDUSTRIAL WASTE LANDFILLAbstract. This article presents practical application of numerical model of ground water flow in designing the drainage wells barrier and assessing its effectiveness in protecting groundwater in the vicinity of the industrial waste landfill. Results of numerical simulation indicate that is sufficient to perform the 8 drainage wells along the 700 m distance and total groundwater discharge 405 m3/24h.
