Abstract

THE STATE OF IDENTIFIED AND THE DEGREE OF EXPLOITATION OF THE DISPOSABLE GROUNDWATER RESOURCES IN POLANDAbstract. The inventory of the identified available groundwater resources revealed that those resources have already been assessed for about 46% of the country’s area (according to the condition as at 28 Feb 2011). The disposable groundwater resources (available and perspective) amount to 37.3 mln m3/day (13.6 km3/year). The national groundwater balance, estimated taking into account the amount of the national groundwater abstraction volume, shows the reserves being at circa 80% of the disposable groundwater resources.
