RECOGNITION OF GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF THE JASTRZĘBIA GÓRA CLIFF USING RESISTIVITY TOMOGRAPHY METHODS FOR LANDSLIDE HAZARD

Abstract. The paper describes the use of electric al resistivity tomography in order to recognize the geological structure of the cliff from the point of view of landslide hazard. The Jastrzębia Góra cliff is the western extension of Rozewie Cape cliff. Ute study area is located in the Jastrzębia Góra town near a school and recreation center "Bałtyk". The cliff in the study area is almost entirely built over with gabions. The large variation in lithology in the gabion band vicinity (sand. clay, silt) was stated. This structure with suitable layer slants and glacitectonic deformations is conducive to landslide formation.
