COMPARISON OF METHODS FOR PREDICTION OF FLOODING PROCESSES IN HARD COAL MINESAbstract. This article presents the prognoses of partial flooding of mine workings in hard coal mine. The prognoses in time were prepared on the basis of analytical and mathematical methods. Analytical calculations were made based on storage capacity and water inflow data. A mathematical model of hydrogeological conditions, consisting of nine layers, was verified in steady-state and transient conditions. The model shows that water inflow to mine workings and groundwater table is perfectly in line with the real measurements.
