Abstract

ASCERTAINMENT OF THE GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE FOR THE CZERWONE BAGNO RESERVE UNDERGROUND WATER FEEDING MODELAbstract. The main purpose of the research conducted in the area of Czerwone Bagno Reserve was to determine the geological structure of the area for a hydrogeological model of water supply of the peat bogs. This model will be used to manage the water balance of the area in such a way that the current state of environmentally valuable hydrogenic habitats is stabilized. The properties of the near surface waterbearinglayer are of primary importance for water supply of the peat bogs. The presence of rows of dune forms, in the layer blocking the flow of the upper part of the stream, is one of those properties.
