Abstract

MODEL ANALYSIS OF CHEMISTRY TRANSFORMATION OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL FLUIDS USED IN OBTAINING GAS FROM SHALE (SHALE GAS)Abstract. Analysis of the results of model research allowed for a preliminary assessment of changes in hydrogeochemical conditions occurring in the borehole after execution of hydraulic fracturing for the exploration and exploitation of gas from shale (shale gas). Changes, simulated in the hydrogeochemical modelling, concerned mainly the composition of fracturing fluid chemistry. The following simulation models were made: of the state after fracturing, i.e. modeling of the possible changes of the fracturing fluid and potential technical problems resulting from the fracturing process, and of the prediction state, i.e. models that allow forecasting possible scenarios of events. In addition to the models of mixing the fracturing fluid with the formation solution, models of mixing the potential fracturing fluid with the useful groundwater were also developed. Model analyses of this type were carried out for different scenarios, in order to obtain a mixture showing capabilities for its second, effective usage in the next process of fracturing.
