Abstract

A TRANSPORT MODEL FOR CHEMICAL INDICATOR IN THE QUATERNARY AQUIFER OF THE AREA BETWEEN THE DUNAJEC AND BIAŁA RIVERSAbstract. Modelling of transient transport of contaminants in the Quaternary aquifer of the area between the Dunajec and Biała rivers was performed for the assumed hydrodynamic steady state conditions. Spatial distribution of chemical indicator for year 2009, calculated with the aid of the transport model, reflects the results of groundwater sampling at several points as well as time lag in the response of the groundwater flow system to the change in the contaminant load.
