Dilatancy and the course of the deformational process in unconsolidated sediments
Abstract
Dylatancja a przebieg procesu deformacyjnego w osadach nieskonsolidowanych
This paper presents a proposition of more complete systematization of the phenomena of dilatancy, and an attempt at the interpretation of its effect on the course of deformation in unconsolidated sediment. It also submits for discussion the suggested terminology referring both to the phenomena in question and to the description of geological processes in unconsolidated sediments.
