SYNTHETIC ENGINEERING-GEOLOGICAL MAPS OF TOWN AREAS TO A SCALE 1: 10 000 AND GREATER
Summary
The practice in presenting the engineering-geological environment of the areas foreseen far town development has demonstrated that a graphical projection presented as synthetic engineering-geological maps is here the most suitable form. Among these maps, two kinds may be distinguished: map of engineering-geological conditions, and map of engineering-geological zoning. The article discusses both principles and methods of elaborating synthetical engineering-geological maps of town areas on a scale 1 : 10 000 and greater.
