THE QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM IN GROUNDWATER MONITORING
Summary
The main task of the quality control system is to create proper conditions for the monitoring run. The process of the monitoring should be unambiguous, reproducible and correct in formal as well as in substantial way. That includes detecting errors, their description and removal of their sources and eliminating false effects. Usually there are three basic tasks in realization of the groundwater monitoring: fieldworks, laboratory analysis, storage of the results (archiving). They include all monitoring activities which are performed, in accordance with fixed procedures, by the whole working team.
