Abstract
AN EXAMPLE OF THE COMPUTER DATA PROCESSING METHOD
Summary
The paper presents computer data processing methods applied to analysis of joint fracture measurements from Podhale flysch region (Southern Poland). Topograhic coordinates of outcrops were digitized and input to computer files with needed text data. Next, bedding plane and joint fracture measurements were added to the record. The joint planes were roted to the horizontal position of the bedding planes. Rose diagrams and contour diagrams were computed and plotted. Described method considerably quickens analysis of large amount of field measurements.
