Studium petrofizyczne Gór Kaczawskich (Sudety Zachodnie)

Abstract

Podano charakterystykę gęstości, porowatości i własności magnetycznych głównych odmian petrograficznych skał budujących Góry Kaczawskie. Wykazano zróżnicowanie petrofizyczne utworów dolnego i górnego piętra tektonicznego tych gór, przeanalizowano planarny obraz zmian gęstości skał podczwartorzędowych i jego związek z wynikami badań grawimetrycznych. Opracowano petrofizyczną charakterystykę jednostek tektonicznych wyższego rzędu w obrębie Gór Kaczawskich oraz struktur sąsiednich, a także jedną z najprawdopodobniejszych, zdaniem autora, wersji pionowego rozkładu bloków fizycznych o zróżnicowanych gęstościach.

Regional petrophysical study of the Kaczawskie Mts. (Western Sudetes)

Abstract
Selected petrophysical characteristics (density, porosity, and magnetic properties) of the main rock varieties of the Kaczawskie Mts. are given and discussed. On this ground, the lower geological-structural stage of this unit of the Sudetes is distinguished from its upper stage. Planar picture of pre-Quaternary rock-density distribution is analysed and its relationship with gravimetric data discussed. Petrophysical characteristics of higher-order structural units are presented both for the Kaczawskie Mts. and the adjacent areas. A model of most probable vertical distribution of main physical blocks, as distinguished on the basis of different and variable rock-densities, is given for the entire region.
