Wpływ tektoniki na rozwój dolin strefy krawędziowej Roztocza

Abstract

The influence of neotectonics on development of valleys of the escarpment zone of the Roztocze Geomorphic characteristics of the gap valleys in the edge zone of the Roztocze is presented. It has been found that longitudinal profiles of rivers and of the superinundational terrace are inconsistent. Convex profile of the terrace as well as the concave one of the rivers indicate the presence of young tectonic movements. Przedstawiono charakterystykę geomorfologiczną dolin przełomowych w strefie krawędziowej Roztocza. Stwierdzono niezgodność profili podłużnych rzek i terasy nadzalewowej. Wypukły profil terasy oraz wklęsły profil rzeki wskazują na młode ruchy tektoniczne.
