Abstract
On the age of the Słupiec Lithic Conglomerate Formation in the Intrasudetic Basin (SW Poland) based on macroflora
In Słupiec near Nowa Ruda, fossil plant remains have been documented from the lithic conglomerates which rest directly upon the gabbrodiabase massive or upon the Kłodzko Metamorphic Complex. It has been determined on the basis of phytostratigraphic evidence that these conglomerates were deposited toward the end of the Visean or in the Early Namurian. Theses deposits are older than the Wałbrzych Formation.
W Słupcu koło Nowej Rudy stwierdzono skamieliny roślin w zlepieńcach litycznych, które leżą bezpośrednio na masywie gabrowo-diabazowym lub metamorfiku kłodzkim. Na podstawie badań fitostratygraficznych ustalono, ie zlepieńce powstały u schyłku wizenu lub we wczesnym namurze. Utwory te są starsze od warstw wałbrzyskich.
