Abstract

Morphology of the top surface of sulphur deposits and its influence on microtectonic deformations of rocks forming the overburden Przedstawiono wyniki szczegółowych obserwacji rzeźby stropowej powierzchni wapieni siarkonośnych i zaburzeń mikroteiktonicznych w utworach tworzących ich nadkład. Uzasadniono, że zjawiska obserwowane powstały w wyniku krasowienia złoża siarki pod nadkładem wyżej leżących utworów. Mogło ono rozpocząć się jeszcze przed sarmatem, a zakończyło się przed holocenem. Nie stwierdzono zaburzeń typu glacitektonicznego. Results of detailed observations of the morphology of the top surface of sulphur-bearing limestones in the Tarnobrzeg area and of microtectonic deformations of the overburden rocks are presented. These phenomena were produced by karst (processes operating within the sulphur-bearing limestones under the cover of the overlying rocks. These processes could begin even before the Sarmatian and ended before the Holocene. No glacitectonic deformations were observed.
