On the relation between the development of coal-bearing sediments and tectonic mobility in the Carboniferous of the Upper Silesia Coal Basin
The sedimentation of the coal-bearing formation and the tectonic history of the Upper Silesia Coal basin are discussed. The authors stress upon the importance of syn-orogenic sediments for dating the orogenic processes and for the evaluation of their duration.
