Abstract
Lithological profile of Dinantian limestones of Czerna near Krzeszowice
Autorzy przedstawiają charakterystykę wapieni wizeńskich odsłoniętych w dolinie Czernki. Wapienie te są produktem sedymentacji w strefie działania, falowania i prądów przydennych. Na mniejszą skalę rozwinięte są osady wapienne powstałe w środowisku spokojnym, położonym poza zasięgiem dużej ruchliwości wody.
A liithological characteristics of Visean limestones cropping out in the Czernka valley is presented. The predominance of detrital limestones over other lithologicai types and the presence of in traformational conglomerates indicate deposition in an agitated environment in the zone of waves and bottom currents action. Intraformational conglomerates in Visean limestones are known in several other points on the East border of the Silesian Coal Basin, and occur also in the same stratigraphic position in the Dinant Coal Basin. The origin of these conglomerates is related probably with early tectonic movements of the Sudetic phase.
