Abstract
On the age and geological position of the so-called „Sub-Flysch Beds” of the Pieniny Klippen Belt of Poland
Badania mikrofaunistyczne wykazały, że w tzw. „warstwach podfliszowych” pienińskiego pasa skałkowego Polski, uważanych dotychczas za aalen, można wyróżnić dwa ogniwa, jedno należące do kredy (? barrem-alb?), drugie zaś do doggeru. Dyskutowana jest pozycja geologiczna tych warstw i podane opisy mikrofauny.
Microfaunal investigations of the so-called „Sub-Flysch Beds” of the Pieniny Klippen Belt of Poland have been carried out. Two independent stratigraphical members are distinguished: the first corresponding most probably to the Aalenian, and the second containing a Cretaceous microfauna (?Barremian-Albian?). Discussion on the tectonic position of these beds is outlined.
