Wstępna charakterystyka petrograficzna iłów miocenu Przedgórza Karpat

Abstract

Preliminary petrographic characteristics of Miocene Clays from the Carpathian Foreland Na podstawie materiału analitycznego zebranego w ciągu ostatnich 10 lat z licznych głębokich odwiertów Przemysłu Naftowego opracowano wstępną charakterystykę petrograficzną iłów mioceńskich. Między innymi przeprowadzono próbę odtworzenia środowiska basenu sedymentacyjnego, szczególnie zaś zasolenia wód morza mioceńskiego. On the ground of analytic materials assembled in the course of the last ten years from numerous deep bore-holes of the Petroleum Industry a preliminary petrographic characteristic of Miocene clays was worked out. The author tried to reconstruct the environment of the sedimental basin, paying particular attention to the salinity of waters of the Miocene sea.
