Abstract
Some petrographic features of the Elbląg clays from Nadbrzeże (Northern Poland)
W pracy opisano iły elbląskie (yoldiowe) z Nadbrzeża. Na podstawie składu mineralnego i zawartości fauny wyróżniono 6 odmian iłów. Są one silnie zaburzone glacitektonicznie.
The paper eonstains a description of the marine Elbląg clays (Yoldia clays) of Pleistocene age cropping out at Nadbrzeże near Elbląg. Six varieties of clays differing in mineral composition and content of fauna are distingushed. The Elbląg clays are strongly affected by glacitectonic deformations.
