Abstract
Pseudoreophax a new genus of foraminifera from the Neocomian in the Flysch Carpathians
Pseudoreophax cisovnicensis n. gen. n. sp. zaliczono do rodziny Verneuilinidae otwornic aglutynujących. Rozpoznany dotychczas w Karpatach zasięg stratygraficzny tego gatunku obejmuje walanżyn-barem dolny. Najliczniej występuje on w walanżynie w niektórych zespołach mikrofauny zubożałych w otwornice wapienne.
Pseudoreophax cisovnicensis n. gen., n. sp. belongs to the Family Verneuilinidae of arenaceous Foraminifera. The stratigraphic span of this species, determined hitherto in the Carpathians, ranges from the Valanginian to the Lower Barremian. The described species is frequent in the Valanginian in microfaunal assemblages poor in calcareous Foraminifera.
