Neogeńska mikrofauna w Karpatach w Dzielcu koło Jasła

Abstract

Neogene microfauna in the vicinity of Dzielec near Jasło (Central Carpathians) Notatka poniższa zawiera listę fauny neogeńskiej (prawdopodobnie mioceńskiej) pochodzącej z iłołupków i iłów szarych silnie wapnistych, które leżą na warstwach krośnieńskich w Dzielcu koło Jasła. Autor pozostawia otwarte pytanie, czy wymienione warstwy z fauną należą jeszcze do warstw krośnieńskich górnych, czy też są to już osady raiocenu, które leżą niezgodnie na sfałdowanym i zerodowanym fliszu. In the year 1954 the author determined the microfauna from shallow test bore-holes drilled in the vicinity of Dzielec. Some samples contained an abundant calcareous microfauna, probably of Lower Tortonian age (for list of microfauna see polish text, p. 243). According to Professor A. Tokarski the beds containing the microfauna are overlying the Upper Krosno beds of the Silesian series, composed of grey clayey and marly shales. The question arise, whether the beds in question are belonging still to the Upper Krosno beds, or whether they represent Miocene sediments lying unconformably on the folded and eroded Flysch.
