Abstract
Chemical composition of biotytes in different rocks of the Tatra Mts
Biotite gneiss, injection gneiss and diorites of the Western Tatras have been analyzed and the results compared with the analyses of the biotites contained by the rocks. On the basis of analyses of the Tatra crystalline schists and their biotites, published by W. Pawlica, Z. Weyberg, and S. Kreutz, the author has come to the conclusion that a similar relation exists between the crystalline schists and their biotites as that found by Z. Weyberg between the Tatra granite and its biotite.
