Abstract
Jankowa anticline
Antyklina Jankowej zbudowana jest ze śla.skiej serii osadów wieku paleogeńskiego i górnokredowego. Na mapie geologicznej wydzielono warstwy krośnieńskie, łupki menilitowe oraz kompleks złożony z ezterecłi członów łupków pstrych rozdzielonych członami piaskowca ciężkowickiego, a jądro antykliny zajmują warstwy istebniańskie górne. W tekście i w tabeli I podano charakterystykę mikrofaunistyczną opisanych warstw. W piaskowcu istebniańskim odsłoniętym na powierzchni terenu w jądrze antykliny występują liczne egzotyki skał krystalicznych.
The Jankowa anticline is built of Upper Cretaceous and Paleogene rocks belonging to the Silesian Flysch series of Western Carpathians. The core of the anticline is composed of Istebna Beds, ranging in age from Upper Cretaceous to Paleocene. The Istebna Beds are overlain by a series composed of four variegated shale members alternating with three Ciężkowice sandstone members. Menilite shales with cherts at their base and Krosno Beds occur higher. The stratigraphic division of this series and the distribution of microfaunal assemblages are presented on Table 1. The tectonic structure of the Jankowa anticline is shown on the geological map (Fig. 1) and on the cross-sections (Fig. 2 and 3). The Istebna sandstones which are the oldest members exposed in the Jankowa anticline, contain numerous exotics of crystalline rocks, which are described by the present author in another paper.
