Abstract
Microfaunal correlation in the Paleogene of the eastern part of the Silesian nappe
W niniejszej pracy podano rozpoziomowanie serii paleogenu wschodniej części jednostki śląskiej w oparciu o charakterystyczne zespoły mikrofaunistyczne. Na podstawie korelacji zespołów otwornic wyciągnięto wnioski o stratygraficznym następstwie piaskowców ciężkowickich oraz ich paleogeograficznym rozprzestrzenieniu na wymienionym wyżej obszarze.
The local stratigraphie subdivision of a series of variegated Palaeogene beds from the eastern part of the Silesian unit is given in this paper on the basis of characteristic microfaunal assemblages. Conclusions on the stratigraphic position of Ciężkowice sandstone and on its palaeogeographic distribution in this area are drawn.
