Abstract
Fucusopsis angulatus Palibin (Problematica) from the Variegated Beds (Danian-Paleocene) of the Pieniny-Klippen Belt
Autor opisuje organogeniiczne hieroglify występujące w warstwach pstrych (dan-paleocen) osłony pienińskiego pasa skałkowego, analogiczne do opisanych przez Palibina w r. 1932 form Fucusopsis angulatus. Są to ślady żerowisk dennych zwierząt mułożernych, zapewne robaków, być może pierścienic.
The author describes some organogenic hieroglyphs found within the variegated beds (Danian-Paleocene) of the Pieniny Klippen-belt mantle. They belong to the form Fucusopsis angulatus as described by I. V. Palibinin 1932. The present author supposes that the hieroglyphs under discussion are the sandstone casts of the tunnels made by bottom mud-eaters, annelids or other worms. These tunnels were infilled by hydroplastic sand shortly after origin.
