Mikrofauna górnego eocenu z Grabna

Abstract

Microfauna of the Upper Eocene from Grabno Autor opisuje mikrofaunę górnego eocenu z łupków menilitowych grupy inoceramowej z Grabna, pow. Brzesko. Stwierd za on podobieństwo tej mikrofauny do zespołu z Globigerinoides conglobatus (Brady) z Kaukazu i z Moraw. We fliszu Karpat polskich podobny zespół nie był dotychczas znany. The author describes the microfauna of the Upper Eocene from the Menilite shales of the Inoceramian unit from Grabno (distr. of. Brzesko). He finds the resemblance of this fauna to the assemblage of larger Globigerina with Globigerinoides conglobatus (Brady) from the Caucasus and Moravia. In the Polish Carpathian Flysch such assemblage is not known.
