Abstract

Contribution to the stratigraphy of the Dogger and Malm in the Pieniny Klippen Belt (Central Carpathians) Autorzy opisują skałkę jednej z pienińskich serii przejściowych (serii niedzickiej) w okolicach Niedzicy w pasie skałkowym, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem jednego z jej ogniw, tzw. „dolnego wapienia bulastego”. Ogniwo to dostarczyło stosunkowo bogatej fauny (głównie amonitów), która wskazuje na wiek: baton-kelowej. The authors describe a klippe belonging to one of the Pieniny passage series (the Niedzica series) in the vicinity of Niedzica, in the Pieniny Klippen-Belt (Central Carpathians, Poland), with particular reference to one of its members, the so-called „lower nodular limestone". This member supplied a comparatively abundant fauna (chiefly ammonites), indicating a Bathonian-Callovian age.
