Uwagi o wieku brekcji lisowskiej

Abstract

Age of the Lisów breccia Autor próbuje określić położenie stratygraficzne brekcji lisowskiej na podstawie zjawisk tektonicznych, przypuszczając, że zaobserwowana zmiana charakteru osadu między kajprem a retykiem oraz pojawienie się grubych czasem żwirowisk na pstrych iłach kajpru spowodowane jest ruchami starokimeryjskimi, które miałyby miejsce także na badanym obszarze. Ponieważ ruchy starokimeryjskie na omawianym obszarze miały miejsce najprawdopodobniej w dolnym retyku i ponieważ brekcja lisowska występuje poniżej żwirowisk, które powstały w konsekwencji ruchów starokimeryjskich — autor przypuszcza, że jest ona nie retyckiego ale górnokajprowego wieku. In view of the lack of fossils which could definitely determine the age of Lisowo breccia, the author endeavours to determine its stratigraphic position on the basis of tectonic phenomena of a known age. He arrives at the conclusion that the sudden change in the character of the sediment between the Keuper and the Rhaetic, the occasional occurrence of coarse gravels on mottled clays of the Keuper, and the probable angular unconformity are the result of movements in the Lower Cimmerian phase. In view of the fact that the movements in the discussed area probably occurred in the Lower Rhaetic, the author presumes that the Lisowo breccia belongs to the Upper Keuper, and not to the Rhaetic.
