Abstract

PORPHYRINS, VANADIUM AND NICKEL IN CRUDE OILS OF POLANDSummaryExaminations of contents and of character of porphyrins were made on 62 samples of domestic crude oils from various deposits and various geological formations. In addition, determinations were made of vanadium and nickel contents in the ashes of the crude oils examined. It has been ascertained that the contents of porphyrins, vanadium and nickels, and the V/Ni relation depends upon the geologic formations of the deposits.
