Abstract

METHODS OF PROGNOSIS OF UNDERGROUND WATER EXPLOITATIONSummaryThe present author proposes to use systematic measurements of yield of exploited underground water intakes for elaboration of prognosis of the further exploitation course. Both the subdivision of the process of decrease in exploitation into periods, and the separation of the initial period of exploitation, in which such a decrease does practically not exist, and of the final period, in which the intake does not cover the whole demand for water, have allowed to give the formulae for the prognostic determination of further exploitation of intakes. The way of using the formulae has been illustrated by several examples. The prognosis of exploitation course of active water intakes allows to plan the use, conservation and renovation of intakes, and permits to project the new ones. The verified prognoses of the water intakes exploited also allow to foreseen the course of exploitation of new intakes from the very beginning.
