Abstract

METHODS OF DETERMINING THE MINING-TECHNICAL CRITERIA OF BALANCE FOR THE RESOURCES OF SOLID MINERAL RAW MATERIAL DEPOSITSSummaryA classical mining method of dry exploitation of solid mineral raw material deposits consists in drawing out the mineral raw material by means of wide mine workings accessible for man. Considerations presented in this paper concern underground exploitations of homogenous mineral raw material. Considerations that concern method of determining the minimum thickness of seams, payable in exploitation, show that it is possible, by means of the formulae introduced (presented in the text), to determine mining-technical criteria of balance for the resources of solid mineral raw material deposits, i.e. such deposits that may be reckoned as useful in economically substantiated exploitation.
