ON SOME CAUSES OF WELL-FILTER OVERGROWINGSummaryThe paper deals with one of very important hydrogeologic-technological problems embracing durability of water intakes in the presence of iron compounds and iron ions in the near-filter zone. The paper bears a character of preliminary elaboration that is based on the fundamental literature data and on author’s experiences.
