WATERS OF SO4-Na ANDHCO3-Na TYPES IN THE UPPER SILESIA AREA
Summary
Underground waters of SO4-Na and HCO3-Na types occurring in the Upper Silesia area in the Carboniferous deposits, are of infiltration origin. A series of highly important factors decide upon their mineralization and chemical character. To the most important belong lithological development of the water-bearing beds and hydrochemical character of the environment. The present paper deals with the problems concerning geochemical processes that take place in the waters mentioned above.
