METHODS OF COLOURING FELDSPARSSummaryColouring of feldspars is applied to determine easily and quickly their contents in preparations, for it is very difficult to distinguish colourless feldspars from quartz. The present author discusses the newest methods of colouring feldspars in thin sections, on polished surfaces and in loose preparations.
