INFLUENCE OF WELL DIAMETER UPON ITS YIELDSummaryIn the literature dealing with the wells an opinion is widespread that the influence of the diameter of a drilled well is insignificant only. However, the author basing on the computations presented in the paper comes to the following conclusions: 1 - an opinion that the influence of the well diameter (well radius) is insignificant appears to be wrong, 2 - the influence of a well upon its yield and upon long-lasting work is of considerable importance.
