Abstract

INTRINSIC TECTONICS OF THE POZNAŃ CLAYS OCCURRING IN THE REGION OF KONINSummaryThe article deals with the landslides that appear due to the intrinsic tectonics occurring in the Poznań clays within the brown coal open-cut mine in the region of Konin. The appearance of these landslides is dangerous for strippers removing overburden. The author discusses also the ways of escaping landslides and the methods of protection against the effects of these latter.
