GRAPHICAL METHODS OF DETERMINING MAXIMUM WELL CAPACITY, FILTER SURFACE, ADMISSIBLE INLET VELOCITY ON FILTER AND EXTENT OF CONS OF DEPRESSIONSummaryTo shorten the time of projecting a well we should use the methods that allow to obtain results quickly. Nomograms belong to the methods which permit to adopt the short technique desired. In the text are given two nomograms for three formulae relatively frequently used in projecting wells. These are: 1. Formula for maximum capacity of well, 2. Formula for admissible inlet velocity of water on filter, 3. Formula for extent of the radius of cone of depression. Nomograms, elaborated tor own purposes In practice, shortened almost tenfold the time needed for computations in projecting a well.
