Abstract
Thermal waters of the Miocene reservoir in the central part of the Carpathian Foredeep (SE Poland).
S u m m a r y. The paper presents results of analyses of the Miocene reservoir of geothermal waters in the central part of the Carpathian Foredeep between Cracow and Tarnów (S Poland). The study aimed at estimation of aquifers depth, temperature and mineralization of waters and locating potential zones for utilization of geothermal energy. Convenient conditions for this occur in the Carpathian overthrust zone and southeast of Dąbrowa Tarnowska.
