Abstract

The Miocene gas fields discovered in the NE part of the Carpathian Foredeep on the base of the Direct Hydrocarbon Indicators on the seismic data.S u m m a r y. The paper contains the description of the latest discoveries made on the basis of the DHI in the extreme NE part of the Carpathian Foredeep. Total reserves of Biszcza, Dzików, Wola Obszańska, Księżpol, Łukowa, and Luchów gas fields are estimated on 5.5 m3 of high methane content gas.
