Lineamenty otoczenia Tatr — porównanie interpretacji DEM i MSS

Abstract

Lineaments of Tatra Mts. surroundings — DEM vs. MSS.A b s t r a c t. The paper presents comparison of geological interpretations based on Landsat MSS image and DEM-based image, covering the same area of the Carpathian Mts. Individual interpretations of both images made by 16 interpreters were gathered into 2 multi-coverage interpretations (MSS and DEM). Results were compared — MSS with DEM, and DEM with geology. The DEM-based interpretations contain more lineaments with greater total lengths than MSS-based, but geological relationship of some lineaments is still unclear.
