Epitermalne złoża złota i srebra w okolicy Orcopampa i Caylloma, południowe Peru
Abstract
Epithermal gold and silver deposits in the Orcopampa and Caylloma regions, south Peru.S u m m a r y . Many precious metal deposits were recently found and developed within south Peru, adding significantly to the growing position of the country in the world mining. Epithermal gold and silver mineralization is bound to Central Andean Volcanic Zone, Neogene in age. Precious metals mines are developed at the altitudes of 3200 to 5200 m a.s.l. Structure, host rock alteration, mineral assemblage, grades, metal production and perspectives for Caylloma, Suyckutambo, Madrigal, Arcata, Ares, Orcopampa, and Chipmo districts, as well as for Poracota manto prospect are described. Most of the veins represent low sulphidation type.Downloads
