Abstract

Regional monitoring of groundwater quality in the Holy Cross Mts. Province—computerized database and software for visual presentation of the results.S u m m a r y. The authors constructed a database and graphic interface for regional monitoring of groundwater quality in the Holy Cross Mts. Province. The software is is designed to store the results of chemical analyses of water samples, as well as to evaluate water quality and present the results. Water quality in monitoring points can be viewed (and printed if needed) as summary tables or maps of groundwater reservoirs and administrative units of the province (districts, communes). Database and application are in use in the Provincial Inspectorate for Environmental Protection in Kielce where they facilitate reporting monitoring results for provincial, district and communal authorities.
