Abstract

The reclamation of open cast mines areas and their usage for construction purposes.A b s t r a c t. The rules of open cast mines areas reclamation are presented in the article. The difficulties of long-term prognosis have been taken into account. The properties of the soils on the heaps were considered for the possibility of their usage for construction purposes (nowadays for wind farms). As an example of Bełchatów Opencast Mine was presented.
